  1. Pretty good video on the new fezza. It touches on how Ferrari have programmed the ecu to allow for slip through a corner and how it manages stability.

    Wonder what others think of technology which appears in modern cars, do you think it destroys the fun

    Probably. The guy I bought the R26 from sold it as he has a new Golf R, he tells me that whilst the Golf is much faster it feels less urgent and responsive to drive and in his opinion less fun than an R26. It seems this is the way a lot of manufacturers have tamed the power outputs of these modern hyper power cars.
     
  3. You would be hard pushed to say it destroys the fun IMHO. If the speciale didn't exist, how would this be received?

    Given that they (Ferrari) had little choice in today's industry but to go small(er) capacity and forced induction, I don't think they have done too bad a job, for a 'first' effort.

    Good that we (well, not me) have the choice.
