I built this engine for my R26 track car with the intention of getting it back out on track after 3 years off the road but realistically, I prefer my c63 amg purely due to comfort. Will be putting my car back to standard to sell, so this is available. Engine has not been timed up yet but the guts of it is done. Will be done before sale upon receipt of sale agreement. I have many pictures of the build but please see attached for reference. Thanks, Chris Machine shop work Block cleaned and honed Head stripped, cleaned and tested, skimmed. New valve stem seals fitted, valves lapped Crank cleaned and polished Pistons and rods cleaned and new rings fitted Bearing sizes checked and confirmed stock Pistons, bearings (thrust, main and big end) and crank assembled and tested. King bearings main and big end, ACL thrust bearings, new piston rings, all std sizes. Crank removed, pistons left in block. All new Bearings removed and cleaned ready for final assembly. New genuine Renault rod and cap bolts fitted and torqued to spec New Renault oil pump, pump drive chain, crank sprocket and guide fitted. Chain cover vapour blasted and painted for protection, new crank seal fitted Windage tray cleaned and fitted Sump vapour blasted, exterior painted for protection and fitted with new gasket and Reinzosil in Renault specified locations. Block de- rusted and coated with 3x coats off VHT Matt black paint. Ancillary bracket vapour blasted Head installed with new MLS gasket Camshafts cleaned and inspected Lifters cleaned 4 times until no old oil or deposits present, filled with oil and left for 48hrs and tested for holding pressure. Followers/rockers cleaned, inspected and fitted Rocker cover and breather plate vapour blasted and fitted with Wellseal sealant Inlet manifold vapour blasted and fitted with new gasket Throttle body vapour blasted and fitted with new gasket New vvt solenoid seal fitted Exhaust manifold supplied but not fitted with new gasket, new high tensile studs and copper locking nuts Thermostat housing and neck, vapour blasted and fitted with new gasket, new Valeo 89C degree thermostat fitted New cam seals both ends Cam cover and lifting point bracket vapour blasted. Pictures confirm all work carried out. Ajusa gasket kits used,head and block Elring head bolts Renault main and conrod bolts King main bearings King big end bearings ACL Thrust bearings Lucas engine lube for all bearings Reinzosil for any silicone work Wellseal for rocker cover and breather plate All vapour blasted parts have been coated with ACF50, left for 24+ hrs and residue removed with microfibre cloth. Engine is not timed up yet as will do this upon point of sale, along with rear main seal when off stand. Dephaser re-used as not that old, 14k miles, new genuine dephaser bolt and oil seal cap fitted. New water pump, idler, tensioner and cam belt (Gates) New SNR aux belt and tensioner All sensors worked previously and have been re used. New set of stock NGK plugs IFR7X8G fitted but not gapped from factory spec. Stock injectors and fuel rail supplied but not fitted as recommend they be tested. Vvt solenoid will be required as not present. Air con pump and alternator will be fitted with new belt kit. Any questions, please ask £2400
