Exhaust problems

  1. Bought the rs240 scorpian exhaust on the group buy....
    Do you think I can get the original off.....
    Can I eck

    Three questions..,. Of help

    Any pointers as cat to exhaust bolts seem round as........, help me.....
    Secondly one of the hangers at the rear is fubar - anyone have a part number or even better a part!!!......., help me
    Last question, anybody fancy attacking it with me.......help me

  2. Surface drive sockets for the nearly rounded bolts.. I try not to use anything else on exhaust stuff.. Drives off the flat of hex not the corners.. Many manufacturers make them..
    Cant help with the the others sorry
    as I made my own exhaust so made own hangers with different type rubbers

  5. always use 6 point sockets when working on exhausts, at the very least. Surface drive would be even better but you want maximum grip and torque transfer :smile: spray the fasteners with penetrating oil prior to removal too
     
  6. If your in the Midlands take it to kingswinford tyres and exhausts. Fitted mine for £30
