Everybody's favourite subject...... lubrication! [emoji16]

  1. Just about to have pretty much a full service on my toy, an R26 with 65k and running 302bhp. At the moment it's full of Miller's Nanodrive oil, as filled by RS Tuning when I had a load of work done, I've done only about 4k since but that was in Feb last year. What oil do people recommend for this mileage, and this state of tune? I'm perfectly happy with Millers, but if people think there is anything better, then please let me know! Cheers,
    Si

  2. The Millers you have or Motul V300 best oil money can buy, there are other very good and cheaper oils out there, most modern oils are fantastic when new, but some stay in share range longer than others

  3. As bob says, the more expensive oils keep lubricating as they should,
    when pushed hard for longer.

You wont find anything better than motul or millers.

I have always run the OEM ELF in mine with 270hp for 7-8 years.
No problems yet, with regular oil changes.

I do notice the oil is always filthy black when swapped out though.
