  1. Evening all, after some help ,
ok so I have just replaced my
    springs
    inner tie rods
    track rod ends
    calipers
    and drop links,
The car is now back on the road however after a few minutes the esp light flickers the comes on constant,

I have checked the cables , all look ok,
the tracking still needs doing as is about quarter turn out on the steering wheel, ( could it be this )

im im running out of places to check , any help very welcome

  2. I know there's a sensor on the steering wheel to sense where it's pointing, if the steering a out that far perhaps it's confused as to the lock applied and the direction of the car?

  3. Good afternoon all,
ok so since the last post about this light it has carried on flickering on and if randomly,
today I have had the tracking done , (didn't change it )
the battery has been disconnected briefly,
however now I have ASR/ESP DESACTIVATED on the dash with the orange light on permenantly,

    any help very welcome ,

  4. Try unplugging the ABS sensor an giving it a clean, this was happening to mine and that's all that was needed.

they've maybe disturbed it during fitting the new parts

  5. Cheers for the reply, I may sound a bit stupid here but were might I find it ,
i have looked on the drivers side front there was a plug connector which I have wd40'd still need to look on the other side,
just seems weird it defiantly has something to do with the work been done as it didn't do it before, to start with was intermittent , but now iv disconnected the battery it's permenantly on ,

  6. Its the cable thats connected to the front hubs.

Disconnect it and give it a little clean out.

  7. Evening all, so more of an update,
yesterday I removed all sensors from each wheel cleaned refitted and thought job was jobbed,
tonight driving along and it looks like a bloody Christmas tree on my dash again, it seems to be when I turn the steering on full lock to the left ? Or if I slow down to go up a large speed bump , doesn't come on turning to the right though,
    any suggestion please

  8. That sounds like the cable is snagging if it's coming on during lock and over bumps. As the wheels turns the cable is getting snagged on something and being pulled out of the plug.

    Possibly worth checking.

  9. Had it all apart again tonight , pin pointed now to the drivers side front, sensor,
I'm assuming a broken wire in side somewhere as when I wiggle it the lights come back on,

anyone now would this be a renault only part or would flea bay do ?
