Hi new to the forum and first of all as it is a Renault I have some faults. Changed the track rod ends and drop links, but when I drove it home I got the esp/asr fault, changed both front abs sensors but still get the fault although it kind of flashes at first then stays off for 20 seconds then comes on. I should get it on the diagnostics but don't know anyone and I'm not paying Renault especially not the one by me they are useless. Also when I have the window down I can here a like rattle jingle kinda sound from the drivers front wheel when ever I go over a bump, not a knock a definite rattle/jingle sound. Any help would be great.
Put the front end up in the air and rotate the wheels. My guess is a rock or loose sensor? Not sure where the reluctor wheel/ring is on our cars but might be worth checking and/or cleaning them. How come you replaced the wheel speed sensors?
Well I heard people curing the fault by replacing the abs sensor and since I didn't know which is was I changed both but obviously that's not the problem. So I'm thinking the and ring? Ye been to four ashes a few times for parts, what's their prices like? For having work done I mean Cheers boys
£40 diagnostics which they take of the final bill if they do the work. Cant think of prices of f me head but found the prices ok when ive had work done, there cheaper than renault i give them that.
So the esp/asr fault has well fixed itself haha after weeks it's just gone. Going to get the wheels up in the air tomorrow and see if I can find this weird rattle!
Have same thing sometimes but just figured its a megane and its makes a change from having no lights on for once.
