Eroded return vacuum feed line

  1. Hi all, just a quick tip for a DIY solution. On two of my megs, the return vacuum line one way valve eroded to the point of falling to pieces, it’s a simple one way valve that looks like a flying saucer. To replace the vacuum line via the dealer is pretty expensive, you can actually buy the one way valve at most stocked auto stores, just buy a bit of silicone pipe and a couple of clamps and your good to go, just make sure the one way valve is flowing in the direction of the intake pipe. I believe this is a breather pipe that allows excess pressure out after detonation, and re-routes it back in via the air intake.
