  1. Hello All,

Im setting up my Torque app ready for a track day this week. One of the dashboards im setting up Oil temp, Coolant temp and Trans temp and im wanting to put in some high temp warnings.

Your help in know what temps are normal and what should I class as high.

Also any other things I should be tracking and monitoring throughout the day.

    thanks

    Dan

You will not get an accurate oil temp from the OBD2 port, its an estimate worked out by the ECU,
Coolant temp should be around 90-95 deg C.
You will also not get a transmission temp as there isn't a sensor for that or is it catered for.

I have separate gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature and boost pressure, its hard to really see what is going on if your on it on track, so i don't really take any notice so might take them out :laughing:

Things you should be checking at a trackdays are tyre temperatures, brake temps and fuel consumption, a standard 250 you need to get that down to 14mpg if mapped then lower :sunglasses::sunglasses:
    Always do cool down laps
