Hi apologies if this is a re post but for those of you in a mk3 rs can you post symptoms for the gearbox mount or engine mount failing. Pretty sure mine has gone on the way to work today, she's currently sat at the garage until they can take a look. Just wondered which mount was the most common to fail and rough idea of cost. My symptoms where an audible bang after heavy acceleration from 3, vibration on idle now and also when lightly raising the revs. Sounded like the exhaust rattling initially. Just wanted some feedback. Cheers
Have you got an early 265? After like 2012 ish cant remember the exact date renault made a new improved gearbox mount due to loads failing
Matty, yes mine's a 12 plate so an early one. Glad it's sorted and easily, the noise it makes when it goes is quite unnerving.
