Not sure if this sounds normal but I'm pretty sure it has always sounded like this since I've had it. Yours sound the same? Sounds worse on video though.
Sounds like tappets to be honest. I've heard a lot of people saying theirs is noisy too, sound normal?
My 250 meg Clio, sounds very quiet in comparison.I would be investigating that hard metallic sound immediately.
Like I said the video makes it sound worse, it doesn't sound metallic in person. Apparently a bunch of 250s come like this from factory and its normal.
I would not be comfortable if my engine sounded like that! I haven’t got a 250 though so cannot comment on if it’s common, but it certainly doesn’t sound healthy. It sounds like there’s no oil in the lifters.
Well so far every video I've seen sounds the same, and I've read countless posts of people saying the same. Even Clio engines do it, must be an RS trait that some do it.
