Hey Can the electric seats be just plug and played into a standard fabric seat car? Or is there a different loom involved? Cheers
Bought a passenger side one v cheaply and it arrives tomorrow! Will have a definitive answer soon! Can't see any different cables on the parts diagrams.
You've managed to get an electric passenger side seat? Do they exist? I only ask, as only the drivers seat has electric adjustment on my full fat RS250.
You're bang on, the passenger one has heating so it's only that aspect needs power. I had seen pics of seats for sale but turned out that they were from a euro car, and so had controls on the 'passenger side'. Don't mind that though, as it means I can slide it out of the way quickly.
So, plugged in the passenger seat and flipped on the heating - no dice! Assuming I need CLiP to enable something... bhlaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
