Hi everyone, I have a 2011 RS250 with the non-Recaro seats with electric adjustment on the driver's seat. Today, I went in and tried to recline the seat forward a bit, however the seat just started reclining backwards until it couldn't go any further. I tried reclining it up again however it wouldn't budge. Then, when trying to pull the seat forward using the release (the one for entering the back seats), I heard a couple of pops/cracks and the recline mechanism stopped working completely. The seat got locked in a (luckily drivable) fixed position so I am able to drive the car. When I try to recline it I can hear the motor running but it keeps making that pop/crack sound like a gear is hitting a plastic or something and the seat doesn't move. Any ideas what the issue might be (and what it would cost me to repair it)? My other car is currently in a non-driving condition (blown charge pipe, waiting for the replacement part to arrive), so I'll keep driving it like this for a week or so, but I'm just curious as what should I expect to pay for a fix.
