R26 Electric Fault

  1. Hi,

    i'm having some big issues.
i recently installed my new stereo which went in great but when i started the engine i got a Check ABS, Check ESP and Check Cruise Control message on the dash.
i also have the spanner sign on and an Electric Fault message that appears.
i now have another issue of all my brake lights not working at all. i checked all the bulbs and the switches on the pedals and no issues.

could this be a blown fuse and if so, does anyone know which fuse it would be?
i presume the fuse will be under the bonnet but i'm lost as to which fuse to look for

    Can anyone help please??

The fuses are in the glove box behind a panel.

  3. By the sounds of it the issue must be with the fitment of the new radio, fuses are not the easiest to get to but I'd be looking and checking the new radio install for a start.

  4. i was thinking that Steve, the only things that were done with the stereo was a an aerial booster (for DAB) was connected to a powering cable and also a microphone was fed underneath the dash under the steering wheel but i don't think anything was interrupted or knocked then.
