Kev- car is completely standard apart from an Andrew Jeff's supplied short shifter that I fitted. All servicing done by local main dealer. Cambellt and water pump were done last year. Also had new rad fitted at same time. Never seen a track although it has been to Brands but I couldn't talk him into it It's been kept in a garage all it's life and very rarely comes out in the wet. I'm always taking the piss out of him for never using it. He spends more time cleaning it than driving it, hence the reason he's decided to sell it. The reason it's up for sale in a garage is they offered to sell it for him to save him the hassle as he works shifts etc.

I'm sure you won't be disappointed Kev. I know he's my mate and all that blah blah blah but I've been talking out of selling it for the last 2 years as I know how gutted he's going to be. He's always bought from new and never owned a car for more than 3 years but he's really struggled to let this one go.
John Pease in Braintree mate, always looked after my cars and definately the opposite of those dealers that are like 'couldnt find anything wrong, here's the keys thats £100 please' - always kept the car still it was sorted that said you are in colchester, their dealer has an RS tech there and my mate with his clio 200 take it there and speaks well of them
I don't think much of the colchester dealer at all to be honest Ive had a problem which I mentioned on the other forum of a vibration above 50 and they swapped my front wheels with the back and told me it was fixed then charged me £60! I did have my car serviced at John Pease in Braintree so I think i'll be taking it again there next time as Renault in Colchester just doesn't give me much confidence.
Speak to fred and tell them matt with the LY R26 sent you, he will look after you! Got on servicing etc too (did my last service and mot for £129) i dont have my r26 anymore so havent seen him in 6m but tell him ill be back with a 265 shortly!
Picked the car up Saturday, fantastic condition very pleased. No sign of a spare alloy so maybe the garage kept it.
Nice one Kev. I heard it had sold. I hope you have a garage, it's not used to being out in the winter. I'm pretty certain it's never seen snow or a gritted road.
