After reading of other members' early morning runs over the past few weeks, I decided it was my turn. Up at 5am for a quick bit of breakfast and some of Columbia's finest and I set off towards the murky grey morning of Yorkshire. I got on to the M18 and headed toward Howden, which I did in record time surprisingly and decided to carry on to the coast. Between Howden and Scarborough are some of my favourite roads and roads I know very well, with a mixture of long straights and sharp esses, coupled with banked curves these roads are alright. From Howden to Driffield I saw one car, which is a bit crazy as during normal hours there's traffic, so it allowed me to push on happily. So I now sit here on Scarborough beach writing this, for what purpose I'm not really sure however I thought I'd share. Undecided on the route home yet but I'll call in on friends before making that choice. Anyway, my current view... Lack of pictures due to copious amounts of fog, which hindered my lap time a little.
Sounds great fun and car looks spot on with grey R spoiler. These early morning blasts seem to be getting infectious... ;-)
