It will fit but you have to change the headlights aswell. Most people change from ph1 to ph2 though not the other way round. Lee
I always thought the ph2 looked meaner... the phase one looks like an old man with a wide eyed smile lol
To some maybe to the rest only if they have no taste. Anyway you have to have shitty seats in an R26 as well as the f'ugly face
I'm with you on the seats.. The look much better, but have shit support. Using my leg to hold myself in place on track isn't ideal.
Thanks lads hmm only downside would be changing headlights it seems might not bother if that's the case much prefer ph1 front end though, ph2 is way too soft
Surely if you want to swap to Ph1 and someone wants to swap to Ph2... you coyld just both swap? Find a Ph1 owner (in the same colour preferably) who wants to swap and BOOM. I love the Ph1 but I also thought the Ph2 looked nuch softer... which is why I went for a '55 plate one... has all the same suspension setup as the R26 but has the exterior of a Ph1. Would have liked Recaros but it had to be 5 door too so there we go.
Like the comparison pic. Trouble is my r26 is white so if someone wants to swap lights and bumper both would have to have bumper painted. Hmmm tempted
I will have a Ph1 bumper for sale soon (when I take the pictures and put it in the sale section). It'll need a respray though as it's inferno orange.
The Ph1 looks meaner as the position of the fogs makes the front end seem wider and lower (the upward curve of the Ph2 grill draws the eye up, making it seem higher). Or at least that is my perception anyway.
^^ he has sone god point there. And yes the grill makes it look much taller. Even non rs model look much lover with ph1. But that arse (tail lights) of an ph2.. Fo front ph1 and back ph2
They cry because they can't control there faces, they also drool a lot being the 'special' face of the family
Haha this discussion is getting funny. Xenons were on my list of dealbreakers when looking, along with 5 doors, CUP suspension and LUX interior (but not digital climate, it looks fancier but the analogue dials are easier to use without looking). It all comes down to personal preference though; most people prefer 3 door (even if the C pillar looks ridiculous) and, while the Ph2 RS looks much more modern than the Ph1, I prefer the aggressiveness of the Ph1 (even if I prefer the 'bad boy' look of the top half of the Ph2 front). You can't have it all, you just have to decide on your best compromise.
I prefer the ph1 bottom bumper as it's more aggressive, but the ph2 top grills and lines as they blend in from the headlights.
Thank you kindly poppap, and if only they made a blend of the two eh Keiron... they wouldn't have needed to even make the Mk3!!
