What mods would you think would achieve this? AFAIK all that is done to it is a K&N cone filter + d/v...
What dyno , who operated it ? Has it been mapped ? What torque ? Do you have the graphs ? Can we see ?
Could just be an over reading dyno or you've got a very healthy engine! What type of dyno was it? MAHA DD etc? Although standard cars tend to produce 225-235 so with the cone on it may have brought it up to that.......
I'm doubtfull just an open cone would free up that much either.... but doesnt k-tec (I know not the most reputable) claim 12-15bhp with their "induction kit" (open cone)
I was expecting it to be less as I've read that the cones aren't great.. Type of dyno...not sure! Once I get the reading e-mailed I'll post it up. The dyno was acurate enough for most of the other cars there, mostly what the owners were expecting, sometimes less! My car sounds different when starting it up, when I was getting a fault code read the guy (has a lovely white RS Clio with an Akrapovic..sounds awesome!) asked if it had a lightened flywheel, again..I was under the impression all it had was a filter & d/v as I bought it from a dealer.
Might be worth a scount around on here for the plate. Its either a very healthy engine , a strange dyno result , but it doesnt appear to be high enough for a remapped car ..
Ive got a dyno map thy cane with my car showing 240 something cant remember what exactly and that was standard think its just an overactive dyno tbh
