I'm just after some advise, My trophy is a little poorly after someone kindly hit me yesterday , so going away for possible repair or tek written off, question I have is if I remove the Ssqv dump valve and replace with a straight pipe, and leave the blank plate on will it still work ok,? Also the vacuum hose should I just block it off ? With a bolt or something car is being collected this morning so punched for time , Thanks in advance
Will still work yes but you'll get the turbo chatter when coming off the throttle at high boost. If the other party has accepted liability your car shouldn't be inspected for modifications anyway as the other insurance company is paying out not yours.
How did you guess MJ57 ! Lol yeah just didn't want to cause any issues, to be honest I think they will write it off , apart from bonnet, wing ,headlight, bumper , the suspension strut has snapped off from the top mount , drivers wheel points differ at to passenger side and to top it of the cam belt snapped or got cut through by something so engine no longer runs , just had it full valeted too about half hour before hand
