DS2500 pads.....knock ?

  1. I posted some time ago about slight knock on off side front but couldn't place it. Turns out it could be movement of ds2500's somehow. Anyone experienced same ?

yeah I've had the same on a pair of rc6's slight movement in the caliper when changing direction forwards or backwards.

  3. Had it confirmed by two reputable sources but is annoying.

only seems to be non genuine pads, never had it with oem pads.

  5. It's potentially to your benefit as it means the pads won't seize into the callipers when they're hot, kind of annoying yes as it sounds like the cars broken but then it's French so no one has commented on it yet....

  6. I know it's not the same model or caliper but my 172 started rattling and knocking with DS2500s in as well. As said above I do believe they are manufactured ever so slightly smaller to allow for expansion of the backing plate from excessive heat these sort of pads are going to see.

Agreed though it does my tits in, OEM pads are knock free and they seem to do fine when setting all these fandango ring times...
