275 Drop links

  1. Does anyone if there’s a difference between the 250, 265 and 275 drop links. I’m sure the 275 ones are slightly different but would be good if someone could confirm.

  2. Drop links are the same for all mk3 RS models. But at £40 / £50 each I would purchase super pro adjustable ones for a little extra, which would give you the adjustability if ever needed. The standard drop link length i believe is 274mm which is in the adjustment range of the super pro ones.
The only part that is listed different is the front wishbone / lower arm, which is only down to weight I believe. My 275 runs the 250 listed wishbone and drives and tracked up fine.

  3. Cheers, I did read something a while back about the drop links being different but can’t find it now haha. I’ve just ordered some febi ones on eBay for £39 with nuts and they look identical to the Renault ones. I’ve got 250 wishbones on my 275 too as the price difference is ridiculous.

  4. My Cup-s 275 uses a different slightly shorter drop link (part number 546180007R). I'm not sure if this is because it has the optional factory fitted Ohlins. You can see the difference in length in the photo. I ended up keeping the original lighter cast alloy links as they were fine and not the cause of the knocking noise I had.

  5. Thanks! I knew they were slightly different. My car has ohlins too so will probably have the shorter ones.

  6. what was making the knocking noise?

  7. It was the Ohlins shock absorber, fixed when it was serviced.

  8. Understand
also thank you for a number of original drop links !! I order for my car! I have kwclubsport with lowering I need It )
