I'm about to install a double din head unit in just wondering how best to (I assume it needs to be) cut the fascia to take the bigger size head unit? I took a photo of the part which I assume needs to be removed. Also apart from the wind screen where else could the DAB ariel be located? Somewhere near the clock in the dash?
I had to cut the middle bar out of mine mate when I did it... then trim back slowly and keep offering up the cage... Also needed to get a surround for mine as the unit was square and the hole in the dash is tapered...
Thanks for the info. I have all the parts needed I just need to get cracking on with the job. The cutting was the first iffy stage for me.
