Hello. As above. Can still lock and unlock using fob. Randomly unlocks and lights flash. It’s not the boot switch as has been checked. Anyone got any other suggestions? Thanks.
Mine does this and I’ve narrowed it down to the key fob. I can bend and flex the key fob and make it do it. I guess there’s something wrong with the circuit board inside. When it’s locking and unlocking, I can usually solve it temporarily by just unlocking and locking again. Not much help with solving the problem as such but it might save you ripping the car to bits. Check the key fob first.
Just to add, the problem is intermittent on mine. When it’s not doing it then I can’t make it do it. If that makes sense? But when it’s in a mood and is locking and unlocking itself, I can definitely mess around with the key fob and start and stop it from happening. For a while I thought it was the fob battery because a new one seemed to help. That didn’t solve it for long though, unfortunately.
