door handle sticks at open position

  1. Rather than take it apart and look it's French and I know the drill people on here will have the same issues. The handle I have to manually push back in to shut the passenger door what's the usual problem with these???

GT85 way better stuff and cheaper, also try some Extralube ZX1

  8. No its not worked something must be broken that ill have to take a look at, joys of french lol.

  9. Mine does it too, if the misses closes the door she slams it so usually the handle pops back in place

  10. Mine does this, even WD40 won't fix it entirely. Its a case of TADTS I am afraid.

  11. Mine was so bad that wd40 or any lube wasn't getting it to work.
so quick trip to the breakers and a replacement handle mechanisum.
note the near and off-side are interchangeable from memory.

  12. Mine does this on the Drivers side, had the handle out and think the mechanism has seized! Tried wd40, silicone spray etc but no joy!
Trip to the breakers or the Stealers me thinks!!

I WD40'd mine and it seems to work.

  14. Mines the same on the 225. Tried removing and lubing. No better. Its the plastic to metal moving parts that seem to be seizing together. Soaked it in penetrating oil. Still no better. So nothing i could do with mine. New one it is.
