R26 Door handle/boot locking buttons will not work

    As above. The one on the driver door was working until recently. The other two were like it when I bought the car. I've trying cleaning them up with WD40 but no luck.

    Right then, how do I remove the entire outside door handle?

    I wrote about it couple weeks ago. It is common fault related to "old fashion" buttons. They stop working after couple of years. Sometimes they work only when raining or after car wash. It is expensive to change them. I was quoted by Renault for about 160 GBP as you need to change whole door handle and spray it.

    I've fixed the one on the boot. The contacts inside the button were rusty so I scraped em clean with a screwdriver.
