1. Had to remove the door card as the electric window was playing up. Seen some guides on a couple of forums which were very helpfull but what they didn't tell is that when you remove the card the electric motor is completely loose and just dangles around with a couple of cables connected to it. It took me a while to work out how to get it all back together again as when you're trying to get it all back in place the damned motor keeps moving around. Realised that it is held in place by some of the screws you removed to get the card off. Anyway I couldn't see anything wrong with the motor or the plug. Was expecting to see the thing corroded or rusted but it looked fine. Put it back together and it is working okay. Not sure if it just needed to be taken apart and reconnected again to solve it. Finger's crossed.
Another thing to mention is that the lower door handle torx screw is well recessed and I needed to go and get a longer one just to get it off.

  2. There are 3 bolt that hold the motor in place which don't need to be removed to take the card off. These are just next to the speaker. I've just fixed mine tonight and the problem wasn't apparant it was just damp. Sprayed some GT85 water repellant in it and its fine now.

All part of the character really.

  3. Well as I said I didn't realise that when I was doing the job as it was hard to tell what's holding what. Thanks for the info. Will know better next time.
