  1. Is it a must to go to RST, KTEC or EFI for a remap as they are 'renault specialists'? or will a local tuner do just as good as a job?

Reputable RS specialist all the way.

Check my project thread if you want to see the difference between a local tuner and EFI

  3. Tried to find it but couldn't so apologies for that! Assume they managed to squeeze a bit more out of it?

  4. I had mine mapped at reputable place, and they are very good, but not an RS specialist, If had have not crashed it, I would have taken back as I think they mapped it with too much torque, next time I would use an RS specialist

  5. just not worth the risk.loads of horror storys out there on badly mapped meganes.
My own R26 was mapped by RS Tuning many years ago..never missed a beat. And EFI really seem to be getting a excellent rep for themselves these days.

  7. there's a couple nasty things that deffo need switching off in the generic reno map before live mapping can commence and its quite shocking how at least one reputable mapper doesn't know about let alone strangers to reno tactics so yer go with recommended mappers
