DMF issues

Discussion in 'Mechanical - Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust etc' started by tom dean, Oct 19, 2022.

  1. Afternoon all I am in the process of changing my gearbox due to bearing issues and am curious on the reliability of the dmf in these, it sounds tight but would like to keep the original in there, I do have a smf as backup but heard that these are not great on the mk3 rs, car is a 250 cup.
    Many thanks for any feedback.

Apparently as long as the dmf doesn't move more than 8 teeth in total movement, its still good to go
