Differences between 250 cup and 275 trophy?

  1. Are there any differences regarding suspension and steering components between the two of them?

A friend of mine just bought a 275 trophy (no ohlins) and told me, it is quite a different car

Could somenone know or trace any difference (eg. part numbers etc)?

This article also refers to changes

  2. Didn't think there was any difference unless you went ohlins tbh. It wouldn't be the first time I saw Evo talk out their arse though about Renaults.

  3. I would like to find this out too.

  4. I've had a 250 FF cup and now in a 275 trophy...

All mechanicals are the same and drives the same, but 275 seats sit a little higher must be different runners, no extending leg bolster, and a covered steering wheel.

  5. The majority of the differences are cosmetic, the chassis and running gear are pretty much identical.

  6. The ARB is thicker - 24mm in the Trophy. Either 20mm or 22mm in the Cup

  7. I thing you are wrong mate....

  8. Is just a standard Cup chassis. Speed lines will make a bit of a difference because of the unsprung weight reduction but apart from that it was mainly just an engine recalibration and a few little choice bits

  9. Yep - my mistake, the figures were the non-Cup chassis
