As above I'm picking up my red megane rs250 on Saturday and I'm not a fan of the yellow belts against the red car. A friend of my does interior re trimming so will be getting different gaiters etc but the belts are bloody expensive to get done from him but if they are out there I may be able to buy them oppose to get them dyed/made Cheers Matt
yes, some of them have red belts, most often the throphies, I think, but it also depends on the overall color theme of the car. I would think a red car would have the red belts, actually..
Yer I was expecting the red belts but it's a cup with recaros amd yellow belts but not a fan of the yellow
Has it not got yellow dots on the seats. yellow stitching on wheel and gear lever and a yellow rev counter to match. So yellow themed then. [not red belts] The red seat belted model has a red theme too. [Grey speedo red stitching etc] [I had yellow seats [Renno ID] too.] The RS mats have yellow logo's too [except latest which are grey] If that helps a bit. It will stay OE then? Cheers Andy

I know if you spec the normal recaros the stitching and belts are yellow. If you have leather recaros the belts and stitching are red. Standard seats come with red belts (in a cup) unless it's those hideous one's with the yellow on them.
My 265 Cup has Black Leather seats, yellow steering wheel stitching and yellow belts. Seems to be the most randomly themed part of the RS Meganes IMO. Perhaps the original buyer specced it that way. I'm happy with how it looks.
Seems if you ordered a 265 without Recaros you got red seat belts....if you spec Recaros you got yellow belts....I do prefer the red belts on the black 265 with the red pack to be honest...I do like mine!! I think the yellow belts were because the Recaros had yellow stitching on them......love the red theme tho and the Recaros on the new 275 are abs stunning!! It may have changed since I ordered my 265 tho
