I used revive on my ford galaxy as I had sticky turbo vanes causing an overboost eml limp mode issue. Worked a treat. Its tdci 2l engine. The amount of shit that came out was horrendous. Do a youtube search. GSF is a stockist. I waited until I had a discount code and got the kit for about £50. Worked for me.
If this is the actual thing you want to fix you can decoke a VNT turbo with oven cleaner for less than a fiver.
I used a product called Asta 3000 years ago on a 825 Rover worked like magic took a tank full of fuel driving around town and the first time i screamed it up the bypass the shite that came out of the exhaust Not sure if its available here http://asta3000.com.au/index.htm
Having said the above, I did see some good recommendations for Forte's Injector Cleaner when put directly in the fuel filter. Using some diagnostic software you could actually measure injector health on my last car - or at least by how much the injectors are deviating from the baseline - so I tested it and found a noticeable improvement. I only did it because I could actually measure a result - and I expected it to be snake oil! http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=2282572#post2282572 I can't say what effect improved injectors offer in reality, though. I did it on my 175 when I changed the fuel filter just to be on the safe side.
Well I suspect the VNT is sticking having had it on the rollers post DPF/EGR delete and map. It was apparent after several runs that boost was fluctuating and the map trimmed a little. I know when I changed the EGR the last time it was essentially coked up so suspect the inlets are the same. Just thought it was a good idea. I've read about the oven cleaner. Just worries me a little about its aggressive chemical nature and any downstream components that may not like it. RS 175 Cup Lux
Here is my print out. I could view what the calibrations guy was checking on the screen and could see he dropped the number of iterations which therefore displayed a smoother curve. If more plots had been set you'd see it fluctuates a lot more and is almost noticeable when driving. RS 175 Cup Lux
Or if you want to do it for free just mist some water into the inlet from a plant sprayer thing. Water will decoke the engine very effectively Sent from my HTC Desire EYE using Tapatalk
