Are there any recommended companies that can remote map the 175? I need the dpf function removing also. Tried dervtech in Stockport but they where unable to remap our 175
Remote as in on my drive. Car is in limp mode due to a long running dpf fault. Dpf is now gutted. Car has been in limp mode for months. Unable to go above 3000rpm. I was unaware of this till I drove it recently. It's my wife's run around. Zero interest in more power just want the dpf turning off
RS tuning then, give them a call and they can send you a box to extract your ecu map, then you send that map to them, they fix it and change it to what you want to achieve, then they send it back to you to install on your car via the earlier box they sent you. speak to them and see what they can do for you. if they can't they might recommend somebody
Your lucky, mine went into limp mode and 1200 rpm was the max it would rev too. I used a company called "Radical Remaps" did it outside my workshop, all i wanted was a DPF delete, the guy said it was the same price as having a map, so i went for the economy/torque option. Been on my Espace for 8 years now still going strong.
It's a pity there so far away. I don't think it's limp mode. More of a safety mode due to the ecu thinking the dpf is blocked. It doesn't bother the misses at all because she just uses it very lightly. But when I drove it, it felt like it had about 60bhp lol
That's a shame, was very pleased with the map the guy wouldn't even let me pay until i took it for a drive, only went a couple of hundred yards (sorry meters ) down the road, it was a different vehicle altogether
No way that's real close, you've seen me going to work then My pal is in Radcliffe who could do that for you. Ill speak to him this week and let you know. He is mobile too
