Daytime running light bulbs

Discussion in 'Electrical & Interior - Security, ICE, Wiring Loom' started by Space Cadet, Dec 12, 2016.

  1. My 250 Cup has the LED running lights down in the bumper, but it also had a set of normal bulbs in the light clusters – are these redundant or are they used for something else? – Seems strange that Renault have fitted bulbs for them not to be used??

    Thanks

As per all your other threads, this has been covered before and could be found via a search.

They are there for those that don't have the DRLs in the blade

  5. I've just searched and couldn't find an answer to my question. There are posts regarding DRL's but none regarding why there is a spare bulb, but you have now so kindly answered this for me.

  6. I think it would look abit odd having a gaappin hole in the light, so they just fit a bulb in there.

  7. Thanks, yes in hindsight you’re obviously right, I just wondered if they were meant to come on as well, or if they were IRO of something else as I also had the LED DRL’s.

    Case closed.
