   Hey all.
   
   My 250 has just failed it's MOT on a split CV boot. The garage has not worked on one of these before and are not sure if it's easy to replace as they say they don't know "if they can get the shaft end" off?
   
   They are normally happy to take my advice from these forums, so is there anything they need to be aware of before they crack on?

   Bit more info, it's the offside inner gaiter that's gone, if that makes any difference?
