Discussion in 'Electrical & Interior - Security, ICE, Wiring Loom' started by Trophy irl, May 3, 2014.

  1. I know there is prob a load of treads about this already but I still need a bit of
    members wisdom
1st I have my trophy nearly 3yrs now and while I know it's not a slow car I'm finding
    that I want more power

2nd) do I go custom or just a standard remap I'm thinking fast chip I'm living in Ireland
so it would cost me a lot if I was to go over to rs tuning and trying too get time off work

    Any help greatly appreciated
    thanks

  2. I take it there are no good tuners over in Ireland?

  3. You can still get a map from RS-Tuning on a remote box from Paul in Leeds or you can get one from Henk at fastchip.nl, these are the only remote maps I would consider running.

Please don't take the cheap option and go down the Blu-fin route as its already been proven that they are problematic.

Yes, a lot of members who are running Blu-fin will be straight on the defensive as this argument has been going on for several years now but in my opinion if you are prepared to cough up circa 26K for a performance car then why would you risk a dodgy map to save £100?

  4. There is no one that I know of that I would trust with my car in Ireland . It was only rs tuning or fastchip I have read a lot about the rest . I have a mate living about 1 hr from rs tuning so I might just bite the bullet and make
    a weekend of it
