Car is an 06 225. Worked perfectly last weekend but mid week my clutch pedal return spring broke, cruise control still worked though. Ordered the Renault Trafic spring and replaced it easy peasy job done. Now my cruise control won't switch on! Speed limiter works as it should but cruise won't activate. I see there's a switch down there I presume to turn the CC off should you depress the clutch however I can't see how that would of been disturbed and it certainly looks undamaged, plunger still moves in and out smoothly and all wires connected up. Any help because it's driving me mad not having it working! I have a 7 mile drive each day on a 50mph average speed camera road and the CC was a god send.
No you can accelerate over the set speed so throttle has no disengage switch and I'd imagine it uses the brake light switch and they're still working. is there anyway to reset the CC?
