Hi Hoping someone has had this issue before, cruise control and speed limiter switch is working on the dashboard. But I don't think the steering wheel controls are working. Nothing happens when I press any of the buttons? Anyone had this problem before and how did you resolve?? Thanks Dan
Without getting it plugged in to some diagnostics. One cheap and easy option is a new brake light switch if this is registering a fault your cruise control won't work. There will be other sensors that could cause the issue. But I think this is the most likely candidate.

That looks about right. Yer it's located behind the pedal it may be worth whipping yours off and seeing if there is a part number on it and also take note of the plug colour. Its not much more for a new one though tbh mate.
Have you had any clicking when turning from around the steering wheel? I did on mine after the cruise control buttons stopped working on the steering wheel and then the airbag light came on. I also have this problem, the cruise control light comes on the dash but doesn't work and the speed limiter light doesn't come on at all.
Same with me in my 225 as well although I find turning it on and off a couple of times first before it decides to work. Not spending £150 to rectify it though. Frightful price if that is the problem!
I have this problem aswell, but my dashboard read check cruise control and check speed limiter. Just got my rd 250 and having a few issues with it and the garage but still love the car
No clicking from steering when turning. No issue with clutch I am hoping it is just the switch. Seeing as its 5quid ill start with that first. Airbag light comes on but if i play with cable under seat it goes off. Ill let you guys know how i get on.
Mine hasn't worked since I had some suspension work done and I noticed too late to reasonably take it back. Is it likely to just be something unplugged? Sorry for the slight hijack.
Im going to have a look at this tomorrow. Might be someone has had steering wheel off at some point and not connected back up. Ill start with the switch first.
