   On my r26 the breather pipe on top of the engine seems to be at quite a high pressure, when you pull the hose off its quite high, when you block it off the engine starts to cut out.
   
   Is this normal?

   If you remove your oil cap, does it blows a lot of oil splashes and air?

   No it would be normal enough back pressure from the cap
