First post so bear with me a bit. So, as stated in the title, I have two major issues with the car. First is the clutch slipping it's tits off, started very slightly slipping last week and I haven't really driven it. Drove it this morning and it was slipping at the slightest hint of throttle. I'm obviously going to get the clutch and slave cylinder change but anyone have a rough sort of idea for the cost all in? Second issue is I have a warning light pop up every now and then saying "check injection system". However the car doesn't go into limp mode or anything and the driveability doesn't change at all. Seems intermittent but yesterday was on all day, usually if I turn the car off and back on it'll go away but I had it on for a good few hours, parked up and left it for about 4 hours, came out to it and it had gone off. So basically just wondering what it could possibly be? Two questions and just need rough ideas before I start faffing with it! Cheers guys.
I think my clutch parts were approx £300 from Renault. If it needs a new flywheel (mine was fine) it gets expensive approx £400-£500 then fitting cost is around £300.
Mine was complete clutch new flywheel and slave cylinder etc done by Renault specialist. That was on the r26
