Had the pleasure of detailing coreys 265 for afew days and finished a job early today so thought I would get this done. To start: Vehicle was washed, iron and tar removed and britemax grime out with a valet pro brush used on all the edges and gaps: Looked abit better all washed etc: Then rolled into the garage clayed: Masked up: Then paint depth reading's taken: Then onto the test spot to settle on a pad and polish combo:
Even this stage left it looking pretty sharp: Then onto the finishing stage, as the car was going to have opti coat applied I find it best to squeeze all the gloss and finish you can out of the polishing steps: Lights were removed: With a panel wipe down this was now the finish:
Trim's with Gyeon trim: Windscreen coated with G1 & 2: Interior trims waxed inc dials: Sonax gummipfleger to the seals: I gave the car a second coat of opti coat and to insure it didn't water spot (can do before it's fully set) I then Modesta quick shotted it:
Quickvideo just to show off the gloss etc
So pleased mate I really am. The level of shine and the work you've done is astonishing. Hands down the best money I've spent on the car to get it looking perfect. Looking forward to getting it filthy at brands hatch next month
Get in there buddy, I always love looking through your detailing threads and I really appreciate the the standard of job you do top marks fella, oh by the way car looks absolutely gorgeous
Nice work again Ed, question for you is it worth detailing a new car as i get mine next week. I might pop down Brands to
Superb work, looks absolutely fantastic  Can I ask what you used to clean and dress the arches? just can't seem to get mine cleaned up and looking half decent.... I noticed from your bins the other day that you can't be far from me, I'm in Sanderstead, I'll keep an eye out for you!
Thanks for all the kind comments,@jamie it's a lovely colour, doesn't have the normal dirty look of pearl white in low light.
I4detailing isn't far away, I always use them and pickup bits, have a nice discount too if you ever need any stuff.
Defiantly worth detailing soon as you get it, some of the threads on DW about dealerships 'valeting' is shocking
Brilliant mate, appreciate that, I'll definitely bear that in mind  Didn't realise they were only in Godstone....
Sorry mate, missed this. It's wise as they never come prepared perfectly and some come damaged etc so yes well worth it.
Think so, been raining since i picked it up so havent given ui a real going over. See what it looks like when i wash it next.
