Bit of a daft question as I think i'll know what will happen... But if I change the coolant temp sensor, will coolant come running out as soon as I undo it? Guessing it will..?
Should I be alright if i'm quick enough to swap it for a new one? And just top up the coolant level (got 5 litres handy)
The hole is quite big so you will have to be quick. If you leave the header tank cap on it should create a vacuum & keep most of the water in. Lee
Yeah, it is a big hole I'm thinking if I top the coolant right up and put the cap back on, then change it over quick. Then open the bleed screw to bring the level back down to MAX again. Be reet.
