Ill be doing the same at the end of Jan mate. Im Guessing just some quality spring compressors and a good socket and hex set.
Are the top mounts decent or will i need a pair of those too? I know when i did my c2 vts springs, the top mounts were made of cheese and fucked within a few days
It's about 4 hours and needs half the car taking apart (slight exaggeration but it's not a simple job like it is on most cars).
Pah 4 hours lol. 45 mins a side on the floor max if you strip the hub off, it can be done without taking the hub off taking 20 minsbut I've not tried it that way, yet. I'd replace the top mounts whilst your there as they're a common wear point on these.
