Hi Everyone My name is Conrad and I’m from South Africa. After about three years of debating whether to sell or keep it, I’ve finally decided to take on the 2007 Megane RS225 that has been in our family since 2011 as a project car rather than letting it go. The car was last parked in 2020 when COVID hit, and since then it’s been a bit challenging to get it back on the road. Maintaining and sourcing parts for these cars in South Africa isn’t always easy, but I’m committed to doing my best to restore this beauty properly. Current issues I’m working through include: Fuel (petrol) pump Black smoke from the engine (suspecting turbo-related issues) Gear linkage problems Intermittent key reading issue Catalytic converter Clutch Looking forward to learning from the community, sharing the journey, and bringing this RS back to its former glory.
