Compression confusion

  1. After some advice please people, took my 225 to get mapped by a known Renault specialist closest to me I won’t name, had 630cc injectors fitted too but didn’t make the power we had hoped for, tuner done a compression test and told me 3 cylinders were on 10 bar and one was on 6 bar, put a base map on to be safe and I paid and said I would come back when I had investigated. Have since taken the car to 2 garages, first one done a leak down test to see where the pressure was being lost, all cylinders held and came back ok also compression test read only 20psi difference (140/120) but in a different cylinder, another garage done another compression test and found the same roughly 20psi difference across the 4. Should I be going back to the tuner and asking him to have another go at it or would this be a major cause for concern? Have driven the car daily and seems fine doesn’t lose water or oil.

There is no way you should go back there, if there like that, they will never do a proper job and if they do, can you feel that they have done the job right, the only way to check would be to get it check elsewhere, so you might as well go elsewhere
