If you were going to mod your engine or have any engine work done who would you trust with your pride and joy ?? Already looking at Ktec way down south along with Diamond Motors and Midland Renault Specialist based in midlands, anyone else mainly in south you would recommend ??
Diamond motors for me took the girlfriends 200 there for the cambelt on Saturday well worth the 3 hour journey. I'll be going back up there for my cambelt and other stuff on the Megane. There's rentech in Portsmouth aswel which quite a few people on CS rate.
For cambelts/servicing and everything else bar tuning/mapping, you take it to these guys if your northwest based Www.birchdown.co.uk
Birchdown, Diamond, Rentech, CGR, RickyP RPM, RST and Mark Black are the most prestigious/respected RS specialists. I'd use any of them happily. Used to have BTM do all my work but sadly they're no more. Off to Mark Black this week, he comes with a gold reputation.
While he isn't 'down south', to complete the list above I'll recommend Gary Burnett Vehicle Services as well, did a cracking job on my cambelt and waterpump - he's an ex renault tech, knows his stuff and doesnt mind if you stand there and talk while he works away
