Clutch pedal

  1. Hi all
For a while now the clutch pedal sticks down and I have to pull it up with my foot.
I also have a leaking brake reservoir as I keep having to top up every week or two.
Are these problems related at all.
Also the Mrs reported to me this morning that the gear stick did not want to budge and find any gears.
    Cheers

  2. Looks like your slave cylinder is leaking.
    Get it checked asap.

  3. Clutch fluid and brake fluid come from the same reservoir

  5. It's a hydraulic clutch so it uses break fluid as said by grantw

  6. Is this a big job?

  7. What car you drive

  8. Most if not all clutch master cylinders are inside the gearbox so your best bet is just to look for breakfluid leaks under your gearbox

  9. Or else just take it in to your nearest garage they'll be able to tell you for sure

  12. I keep topping up with fluid so obviously something is leaking.i also have a bit of an engine oil leak from somewhere so it is very hard to pinpoint what is leaking from where.

  13. All it the same as the rs models, same gearbox, masters for the brake and clutch etc...
