Clutch options

Discussion in 'Mechanical - Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust etc' started by wackers90, Oct 26, 2021.

  1. Hi my clutch has recently failed. I currently don’t know the exact problem as there has been no visual inspections. Though we can’t see any fluid leakage and it was a sudden failure (unlike when the clutch damper failed previously). So I’m assuming it’s a new clutch.

So, what are my options - does anyone have experience with any uprated clutches etc? Any in particular you would recommend?

    thanks
    Andy

  2. what car? mk2 or 3 or 4?

  3. Sorry! Mk3.

  4. Stay stock/genuine Renault if not too modified. If torque is quite high, 360ft/lb or so then RTS dual friction is a decent option. The next step up from RTS is something that will be a pig for road use.
