250 Clutch issues

  1. I'm having a few clutch related problems on my 250 Cup

It's done 67k miles, remapped to 300bhp (usual rs tuning thing)

I noticed it about a month ago when setting off it just started juddering in 1st and 2nd. Took it out of gear tried again and it was ok

But now once or twice over the last few weeks I've put it in 4th or 5th and put my foot down and it just revs up and slips.

The weird thing is ever since I bought it 6 months ago the clutch feels "wrong"
When setting off in 1st or changing to 2nd the biting point is about 1" from the floor
But when your moving at speed and doing 4th/5th/6th changes I only have to put my foot on the clutch a few inches and it changes - the biting point seems really high when driving but fine when you're setting off from traffic lights...

I know it's probably the clutch or the slave cylinder or something. But trying to save myself a grand and I have cadwell in 2 weeks. Is there anything else that can affect the clutch and the biting point?
Is it possible that shitty dampener thing can have issues or anything like that?

    Thanks in advance

It's worth trying the clutch damper first since it's the cheapest to sort you'll know if its leaking though if it's taken the paint of the arb

  3. I just want to bin it off and get a braided line fitted, but I'm not sure where it is or how to bleed it
And it's too damn cold to be doing this stuff without a garage that the fat old girl will fit in lol
