Clutch Bill

Discussion in 'Mechanical - Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust etc' started by joshster321, Jan 12, 2015.

  1. How hard is it to change the clutch on the 250 (out of 10)?

And how much are we looking at for parts?

And how much parts and labour from a reasonable mechanic?

I was quoted £770 by SWR to fit a new clutch/Slave cylinder. Pretty reasonable.

I ended up getting it done when my engine was being stripped at the start of last year though so couldn't tell you exactly how much it was then as it was one large invoice...

Last one we did cost £758.02 with the dreaded VAT and that also included the DMF.

    ------------------------------------
    Parts were £391.68
    Labour was £240.00

    Sub-Total - £631.68
    VAT - £126.34
