Clunk when letting clutch out

Discussion in 'Mechanical - Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust etc' started by Northy 8, Oct 18, 2014.

  1. Noticed more when car is cold as you release the clutch pedal you get a shudder or clunk
When it warms up its a lot better
You find yourself letting the clutch pedal out slower as this makes it better
    Any ideas guys
    Cheers

  2. clutch pressure plate (is that written right?) maybe. cy? miles?

  3. Might be mate
It's done 76k but not sure if it's had a clutch

  4. Could be the release bearing.

  5. Guessing I think it feels more like a mount is worn like the gearbox one
