Hello! Some of you may recognise me from the clio forums, I currently have a clio 200 and i'm looking at upgrading to a megane 250 Going for a test drive tomorrow, very excited! I'm thinking that surely the megane can't be that much quicker than the clio with the extra weight and only 50bhp more... Will report back

I'm not sure upgrade is correct tbh. More like sideways, depending on your view. Faster, more grown up, duller, more expensive, in a quick summary. Welcome across btw

Welcome to the club, I have seen a really nice LY trophy for sale on the forum Found my megane is considerably faster than my ex-partners clio 197. The torque makes for great progress on the road. On a track I don't think it would be as clear, but on the road the much stronger mid range is great!

its the natural progression I made the mistake of having a Mk5 R32 in between. That really makes you appreciate the renaultsport chassis magic...

I love my 250, recaros and cup pack are all you need imo. Can always chuck a 250 engine in the clio anyway
